Executive MBA 2019 Class Gift Campaign

Short Summary

Driven by students, the class gift is a way for graduating students from the EMBA program to have an impact on MIT Sloan. Graduating EMBA classes have a history of supporting the MIT Sloan Annual Fund by providing resources for four major areas: student support, faculty support and research, alumni support, and programs and initiatives. Join your classmates in making a gift by June 30, 2019, to be part of the EMBA 2019 Class Gift Campaign.

Case Statement

MIT Sloan’s mission is to develop principled, innovative leaders who improve the world and generate ideas that advance management practice. Your commitment to the MIT Sloan Annual Fund demonstrates your belief in the school’s work, in the vision of its faculty, and in the quality of its students. The feasibility study that supported the creation of the Executive MBA program was funded by the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. Support from the alumni community is what made your MIT Sloan experience possible. You can continue this legacy and make the MIT Sloan experience possible for years to come.

Areas of Support

Student Support—Exponential growth in student fellowship funding through the MIT Sloan Annual Fund has allowed the school to attract the most promising, capable students.

Faculty Support and Research—MIT Sloan faculty members are supported by the MIT Sloan Annual Fund, empowering them to create compelling, relevant curriculum, hands-on learning opportunities, and groundbreaking research that changes the world.

Alumni Support—Interaction with MIT Sloan extends well after graduation. Alumni events, conferences, virtual programming, and more allow you to engage with MIT Sloan, thanks to flexible funding.

Programs and Initiatives—Action-learning labs, the Global Labs, and the Leading with Impact Executive Module are direct results of support from leadership donors.

Year after year, Executive MBA students help the school set new records for the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. Your legacy at MIT Sloan impacts the community in Cambridge and beyond.

Be part of the leadership giving society  The MIT Sloan Dean’s Circle is the school’s leadership giving society honoring donors to the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. Dean’s Circle donors contribute an annual, unrestricted gift, (which can be cumulative over the fiscal year July to June). By making a Dean’s Circle gift, you will join others in the MIT Sloan leadership giving community who contribute to the school’s mission-critical activities with one goal in mind: IMPACT.

Student participation in the Dean’s Circle starts at $500. The Dean’s Circle level increases to $1,000 for the four most recently graduated classes, and then to $2,500. To learn more, contact Frances Hamilton at or 617-253-8252.
