Our team has just completed the 30-hour journey to Darwin! We had a bit of explaining to do to the United Airlines and TSA agents on our way over regarding all of the unique supplies in our carry-on and checked bags (spare circuit boards, suspension components, long-range radios, the usual), but we all have safely arrived (with all our supplies!). We immediately celebrated by reuniting with Arcturus and working to get everything back in working order (after it's two-month journey around the world) for our track-testing slot tomorrow.
In the flurry of packing, travelling, not to mention trying to best position ourselves for missing 2 weeks of classes, and arranging for Arcturus's return voyage to the US after the race, we wanted to acknowledge the amazing support we have received from all of you. We are excited to announce that, thanks to all of you, we have met and surpassed our $10,000 fundraising goal! Your donations will offer critical support for our activities over the next few weeks. Be sure to check out your personalized cell on our adopt a cell page if you selected that perk.
We'll be updating our blog, twitter, flickr, facebook, and instagram accounts as often as we can over the next two weeks, so please join us on our journey, and thanks again for your support!
