MIT Student Veterans Association

The MIT Student Veterans Association is a group of like-minded military affiliated personnel that drive initiatives and organize resources and events for advocacy, MIT policy, community belonging, military-civilian transition, and the general health, welfare, and success of military affiliated students on MIT campus. We prioritize the above by organizing events that foster a growing Veteran network on campus and recognizing the unique professional and personal trajectory that military affiliated students take to MIT to provide resources for that journey.

Help raise money for campus events

Throughout the year, we host events and outings that help our members de-stress and build community. Our flagship is the Veterans Day Celebration each fall—a large, campus-wide gathering with speakers, curated programming, and catering. We also partner with other student groups and MIT Student Veteran Success (SVS) to create additional opportunities for military-affiliated students to network and connect on campus. Crowdfunding helps keep these events accessible and impactful for our community. Every dollar donated helps cover program costs and build a support network for our veterans.
