Since 2001, MIT OpenCourseWare has led a global movement in educational access, opening the doors to MIT’s world-class curriculum for anyone with a connection to the Internet. Now part of MIT Open Learning, we have shared materials from more than 2,500 courses and empowered 500 million learners in nearly every corner of the globe. Whether it’s an entrepreneur in Kenya creating new career paths for her community, a college student in India supplementing his studies, or a retiree in Spain exploring a lifelong curiosity for physics, OpenCourseWare has become a foundational resource for a more inquisitive and equitable world.

This means 100% of your donation will go to OpenCourseWare to help us continue to publish open and free MIT course materials. 

$25: Personalized commemorative MIT OpenCourseWare 25th Anniversary digital sticker with your name. 

$250: Limited edition custom-made desk-sized characters—Ada, Isaac, and Tim the Beaver—are composed entirely of colorful paper pipes. With only a pair of scissors, you can build these lovely characters via a series of cuts and folds. Note: these can only be shipped within the continental USA.

$2,500: Receive special recognition on a course from a subject area of your choosing (only available on one of ten courses) on the MIT OpenCourseWare course homepage for the 2027–2028 academic year, e.g., “This course is supported in part by Tom Smith for the 2027–2028 academic year.”
